职位描述：

此职位向美国Texas Denison工厂LSS/MCTO & Engineering Technology Manager直线汇报，向厦门工厂Sourcing Manager虚线汇报。 MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS): 1.Go through a comprehensive on-the-job training in Denison to understand the people, expectation, tooling and process requirement. 2.Work independently in Xiamen with regular weekly interaction through Webex or phone with the Denison engineers and tool room personnel. 3.Develop the tooling built expertise with selected Asia tooling partners and perform quotations, contract negotiation, drawing reviews, and project management throughout the tool built cycle. 4.Proactively to identify constraints, milestone delays, design issues, cost overruns. Presents solutions and pursue consensus. 5.Perform tooling run-offs at the vendor's site and work closely with Xiamen SQE to conduct the necessary capability study, FAI, and PQP processes. 6.Coordinate transportation, customs duties or equipment, tooling and test materials between US and China. 7.Develop cost saving ideas to eliminate waste in the tool procurement process. 8.Good communication skill in Chinese and English and be able to influence buy-in and decisions. EMPLOYEE SPECIFICATIONS (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS) Education and Work Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Operations or similar discipline, or related work experience. - Minimum five (5) years relevant (i.e., comparable industry and functional area) experience. - Six Sigma/ Lean Manufacturing experience preferred. - Demonstrate strong team leadership and project management experience. - Strong analytical skill with a high sense of urgency and commitment. - Integrity in transactions with outside vendors. Technical/Functional Competencies: - ENGINEERING SKILLS: Ability to understand metal properties and functionality. Perform tool design calculations, statistical tolerancing, part and tool drawing specifications. Translate technical requirements to the shop floor. Have statistical knowledge for product capability study and PPAP process. - COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Ability to effectively transmit and listen to internal and external customers at all levels. Understand the cultural difference between US and China. - CREATIVITY SKILLS: Ability to leverage ideas from the associates, select the best options, and practice creativity before capital. Apply Lean concepts on every decision. - PROJECT MANAGEMENT ABILITY: Ability to build and lead strong project teams with clear objectives, task assignment, progress metrics, deliverables, financial accountability, and sustaining quality result.
