　　1910年两个年轻的企业家, S. Duncan Black 先生和 Alonzo G. Decker先生在美国马里兰州的巴尔的摩市成立了名为百得（Black & Decker）的制造公司，如今公司的发展已经超过他们当初所能有的任何设想。

Two young entrepreneurs, S. Duncan Black and Alonzo G. Decker, founded a small machine shop in Baltimore, Maryland in 1910. They called it the Black & Decker Manufacturing Company. Their shop has grown beyond anything they could have imagined.
Company History:
·1910 – Company founded.
·1920s – Company goes International with expansion into Canada, the UK and Australia.
·1950s – International expansion continues with operations in South Africa and throughout Europe.
·2005 – Black & Decker Sales top 6.5 Billion USD.
·2006 – A new plant is built in Xiamen.
·2007 – Black & Decker Xiamen produces its first and one millionth locks.
